Dj Ballsey started djing In 1997 at the age of 16, and after a couple of months he was djing in all the local hotspots in Camden. In 1998 he was offered a show on the legendary pirate radio station Raw FM 90.00fm where he did Saturday's 6-8pm with MC Peck.

After a two years he was able to spread his wings further, and managed to secure shows on Divine FM 88.6fm and Passion FM 91.8fm; and also covered guests shows on Taste FM, Abyss FM, Flex FM, Mission FM, Freek FM and Mac FM.

In 2003 he left the pirate radio scene and concentrated on producing his own music. Between 2003-2006 he had 3, top 10 tracks in the channel U Chart; with SLK, Charlie Sloth and Maximum Contents and had also been able to produce tracks for miss dynamite, tabernacle, drastic, southside military, Ace and Vis - to name a few.

In 2006 Ballsey started a family and fell away from music until 2010 when he was enticed back to Djing after he began to recieve bookings for OldSkool Uk Garage events, with his old partner in crime MC Peck.

This in turn led back to radio, and it wasn't long before he returned to our ears on Hightz Live, Pulse London, Shine FM until finally, he got a show on Freekfm.

After playing Oldskool week in week out for a couple of years Ballsey decided to expand his horisons by playing and producing Deep House (as the vibe reminded him of the house and garage scene back in the mid 90's).

In 2014 he launched his own night called 'I Like It Deep', with a couple of like minded people that is going from strength to strength and now has a dedicated following..

You can catch Ballsey ( and Guests ) on Thursdays 6-8pm.
